Band History

Grand Parade formed in October 1997 as a tribute to the early music (70's) of the progressive rock giants, Genesis. Grand Parade began booking shows at Chicago-area clubs in 1999.

Over the next few years, the band developed a play list of more than five hours of Genesis material while building a dedicated following of progressive rock fans from around the Chicago area and greater Midwest.

Today, thanks to the band’s ongoing commitment to accurate musical arrangements, excellent musicianship, and exciting stage presentations, Grand Parade’s acclaim continues to grow, drawing consistent audiences ranging from 150 to 250 people.
Grand Parade has taken its show to a variety of Chicago-area clubs such as Chicago City Limits, Schaumburg, 602 North and Shark City in Glendale Heights, Ye Olde Towne Inn and Tale’s Rock’n Sports Bar in Mount Prospect, Sidetracked in Lemont, Cadillac Sam’s in Skokie, The Bridge in Romeoville, Bohica Bar and Grill in Chicago, and Champs Rock Room in Burbank.

Thank you for your time and consideration and we look forward to working with you in the future.
